In addition to routine eye care, we at Compton Eye Associates also provide emergency eye care. Patients are able to walkin without an appointment if they are suffering from a sudden change in ocular or visual health. If you require immediate attention, DO NOT drive yourself to the office. Have a family member or friend come bring you to the office. If necessary, call for an ambulance or take public transportation.
There are various symptoms that would indicate the need for emergency treatment. Some of those symptoms include the following.
Sudden vision loss
Sudden hazy or blurred vision
New black spots or flashes of light
Sudden crossing of the eyes
Eye injury or pain
Loss of peripheral (side) vision
Red, crusty or swollen eyelids
